If star blocks are a favorite, you will love the flying geese block. Like many traditional quilt blocks, there are a variety of different methods to create a flying geese block. Why use traditional piecing techniques when you can piece and quilt the blocks in-the-hoop? The Flying Geese Build-A-Block is super easy to stitch, has several options for the quilting motifs and project layouts.  Making a perfect flying geese block has never been so effortless. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of the prevailing reasons behind our desire to create the “Build-A-Block” embroidery series is to inspire creativity, both yours and ours.  The Flying Geese Cosmetic Bags are a perfect example of how to be innovative and imagine new projects using the Build-A-Block designs.  These simple-to-stitch cosmetic bags use the flying geese blocks as the feature blocks, and a combination of “Q” (quilt) blocks, border blocks, and “cut” blocks for the bag.  Clever, yes, and a great example of thinking outside of the box and utilizing several of the Build-A-Blocks to create a project that will be stitched and quilted in the hoop.
